Miles Teller Breaks His Nose While Filming Action Sequence

Teller injured while filming "Spiderhead"

broke his nose while filming an action sequence on the set of the upcoming Netflix thriller "Spiderhead." According to , the “Whiplash” star was injured when he was accidentally struck in the face by another actor during a fight scene. Production on the film was briefly halted while Teller received medical attention.

The actor later took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with a bandage over his nose and a bloody shirt. "I broke my nose filming an action sequence yesterday," Teller wrote in the caption. "It's not ideal, but I'm okay. Thanks for all the well wishes."

Teller is expected to make a full recovery

Despite the injury, Teller is expected to make a full recovery and continue filming "Spiderhead." The film, which is based on the short story of the same name by George Saunders, follows the story of a group of prisoners who are subjected to a series of mind-altering drugs as part of a scientific experiment. Teller plays one of the prisoners, alongside Chris Hemsworth and Jurnee Smollett.

"Spiderhead" is scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2022.
